SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of IT, Andrews Electronics IT Project manager will liaise with the organizations business leaders to develop technical solutions to a higher, better and more advanced stage. The Project manager represents the Information Technology departments and works closely with peers in the business units to drive progress on tools and technologies.
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently performs thorough and horizontal view of business
- Analyzes needs and requirements of business solutions; evaluates best practices, merits, ease of integration, and short and long-term ives to support "build vs. buy" decisions
- Compiles and presents calculations and analysis of Cost & Benefit, ROI and other metrics to create sound Business Cases
- Works with flexibility and independence; exercises initiative in PM role
- Supervises projects, provides motivation for projects and project teams, provides appropriate negotiations; expectation management; influencing at all levels; conflict management
qualifications and experience:

Practical business knowledge in Customer Relationship Management, Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management, preferably in an IT organization, a major plus

Experience in managing architects, developers, testers, and systems administrators in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle is recommended

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration

PMP is recommended

Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analytics, to perform enterprise analysis, requirements planning and management, requirements analysis and documentation, requirements communication, requirements implementation, requirements elicitation, problem solving and leadership

Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management, to manage scope, integration, time, cost, quality, resources, risks and project communications " preferably Project Management Institute"s Board of Knowledge (PMBOK) (PMP Certification preferred)
Excellent oral and written communications skills; strong leadership and negotiation skills -
Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously with little or no direction and capable of operating under pressure in a fast-paced environment
